Both Andrew & Guy have now left the UK and are heading for Hong Kong. After a short stop they depart for Sydney ! Emotional day for all involved.
Looking forward to a few comments on the blog from now on in.

Just commented on the blog below but probably more appropriate to comment on this one. Definite emotional day for all, but a good one as finally this challenge has started and the boys are closer to achieving their goal!!!! As a long suffering girlfriend to this challenge I am obviously excited for beginning, as means the end is ever nearer. But joking aside GOOD LUCK boyos and looking forward to some blogging action over the months and looking forward to popping that champagne for a record breaking result!

Well boys,as I said earlier,I still don’t know what to say. Bring on July once you have torn up the Indian Ocean! Looking forward to hearing all the stories! Just remember to keep those speakers blaring, just imagine when ‘the unforgetable fire’ comes on-that will spur you on! Speak when you reach Aus,don’t drink to much VB before the row! Love ya both

I echo everything said above - now the fun really starts for the two of you and it won’t be long until you’re pulling away from the aussie coast beginning the most amazing challenge. When you’re in Freo, make sure you check out Little Creatures in the main marina. Good luck fellas - i’ll be glued to this site for the next four months. R

Yes, strange how you can spend a year planning for something and then when it comes somehow its a shock when it really happens! I know they are off on a trip they will never forget and will teach them so much. I am sure it will be great fun! I wish them both every success! So proud of you!!!
