Day 6 - Keep the miles coming boys!

The boys continue to row hard and decided to get on the oars through out the night!  Real progress in terms of mileage. Support crew getting the hang of the best tactics for the long race. Worth listening to Absolute radio tomorrow as small chance the boys will get a ’shout out’ on Jo Russell show (10am - 1pm). Comments as always, greatly received!

What a great day….great performance, really putting in the miles and closing down on the other pairs by the minute! Seem to be in a good position as well given the wind seems to be pushing them all north ….I bet they feel better for such a good day. Well done you two. Proud of you, yet again!

what an amazing progress!!!!! Gerard is back again in Dongara, he might be stretching his eyes on the horizon. Following your track and Sarah’s is becoming very addictive, it is the first thing we do in the morning and last thing we do at night, we are loving it, but we always have a thought for your hard work and tremendous courage. Keep rowing hard, you are catching up!!!!!!!!

Keep on with the great effort, all willing every stroke from you both…my arms are aching just thinking of it ! Good luck for the next 24 hours and can’t wait for the update…

Southern Cross position is not 2 days old, it is 36 hours old (or thereabouts).

They were ahead of Doing Time at a 4:00am update - compared to Doing Time update 2 hours later. Which suggests to me that they are probably something like 3 to 4 miles ahead.

Glad they finally took the outboard motor out of its packaging! I was thinking that they would never get round to it.
