Day -51 Stuck

Andrew & Guy have been caught by an unexpected upwelling current that has taken Flying Ferkins towards Australia not Mauritius! Boys are stuck heading in this direction for a few days and there is no way out. Lets all cross our collective fingers that they get out of it sooner than Friday as it will leave the boys very frustrated.

Please keep your comments & questions coming.

    This sucks, hang in there folks.

    Everyone is working on it at full speed to do the best we can.

    Hope you two can get some rest - stay strong - you are doing great

    It must be so frustrating to see your progress taken back in this way! Don’t loose focus though you will soon be rowing with a vengeance again! You know you can out row SC and you know you will get to Mauritius!
    Keep faith!

    Bummer - but on the positive side you’ve been going for over 50 days so you know you can do this. What’s the odd day to so backwards? You’ll soon be out of the current and headed in the correct direction again - towards food and beer!

    Hello guys from Cowes!! Been keeping up to date with your progress everyday - you’re doing amazingly. Thought I’d help you out with the requests for puzzles etc, but you seem to be making progress again today… so here goes incase you hit another exceptionally dull moment;

    It’s purported that Einstein said 98% of the world’s population could not figure out this logic problem; (knowing both your competitive (!!) personalities, i’m sure you’d both like to join me in this 2%!!)

    There are 5 houses each with a different color. Their owners, each with a unique heritage, drinks a certain type of beverage, smokes a certain brand of cigarette, and keeps a certain variety of pet. None of the owners have the same variety of pet, smoke the same brand of cigarette or drink the same beverage.

    * The Brit lives in the red house.
    * The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
    * The Dane drinks tea.
    * Looking from infront, the green house is just to the left of the white house.
    * The green house’s owner drinks coffee.
    * The person who smokes Pall Malls raises birds.
    * The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
    * The man living in the center house drinks milk.
    * The Norwegian lives in the leftmost house.
    * The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
    * The man who keeps a horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
    * The owner who smokes Bluemasters also drinks beer.
    * The German smokes Prince.
    * The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
    * The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water.

    Who owns the pet fish?

    Congratulations again on how well you’ve done so far - hopefully soon i’ll be updating the uksa blog with ‘world record holders Andy and Guy…’ (i’ve put a few bits up there about your progress, will do again soon)

    take care, and hopefully you’re both still carrying enough weight for some effective motorboating to while away any tedious moments!!

    Ahh gutted… That’s such bad news. I hope it helps a little to know that so many people are supporting you here and willing you on. You’ve both had to overcome so many obstacles already, I’m sure that you’ll get through this one and come out stronger on the other side!

    Spoke to my Mum the other day (Guy) and she said they saw your mum recently in town. She’d updated them on how you were getting on too, so word seems to be getting round! Will be following regularly and trying to post some comments a little more. (Hope one or two of them get through at least!)
