Day 91 - Nether regions
A fantastic few days as Andrew and Guy work harder than ever. The conditions are now lighter. Overnight the boys rested up well, sleep an important element of the regime onboard Flying Ferkins. Guy under continued pain in his nether regions (bloggers note: please no more ‘balls out’ on the comments! waa ha ‘bit more’). May take a chance to clean the boat as the sea calms.
A big thank you to Jackie at The White Horse Inn in Storrington, David Harding the landlord at the Boars Head Tavern, Horsham and finally to Mark Pav! All have worked hard to promote the boys efforts and generated money towards Orchid.
Distance made West:
Saturday 18th July 49nm
Sunday  19th July 34nm
Please keep those comments coming fellow blog friends.
Tom out.

Nearly there, nearly there!
(jumps for joy)
I’m pretty stunned for words now… well done doesn’t really cover the sentiment. Loving your work! Keep going ferkins skippers and when you’re back in sunny England remind me I owe you a drink

not the first time that you’ve had such problems down below Guy.
Keep it going lads, keep the vision…….there’s only Swine Flu and a Global Recession to come back to!!

Guy Andy
Helen Taylor has left you a bottle of Champagne and card at The Sailing Club in Mauritius, mustn’t forget to collect it on arrival!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Helen, such a shame you have left and you can’t all drink together on the Island. Hope to see you at our Welcome Home Party later in the year.

Hi guys!!
Good to hear that you are having better rowing weather again!
Sarah is too, and has had a good day today, made even better by the discovery of some more Mars bars that she didn’t know she had.I’m sorry, but I don’t think there are any left….she’s needed them to help her row you see!!!
Just keep plugging away at those miles.
Thinking of you.
Take care, Xtina and I want to meet up in Mauritius ….and soon if possible!!

Yo!
I should think the boat does need a jolly good clean, what with all the ‘balls out’ rowing!!! He he.
Lets keep that speed up now boys (Tom Cruise - Top Gun “I feel the need, the need for speed!”).
Godspeed my loves.

Hi, been off on holiday for a week and just fantastic to see on my return that you are ahead and making such brilliant progress. On the homeward straight now. How amazing to have seen a blue whale. Still haven’t told me if you’ve seen those shooting stars - you must have done but guess you dont have time to look up!
LOL xx
