Day 95 - Keeping up the pressure!
We’re really so pleased to be making such fast progress all spirits are high on Flying Ferkins. The mileage not as good today as we were caught in a current that tried to send us south, but we’re back on track and we are still ahead of Southern Cross which is the main thing.
No we can’t smell food on land yet! But the closer we get to land the more bird life is appearing - I believe there are lots of birds on Mauritius - an Albatross would be good to see - so if we get time we could do a bit of twitching!!
We both keep thinking of all the things we need bought out to Mauritius - it’s struck us how little we’ve got on board especially clothes!
Thank you again to everyone who has given so generously to Orchid, we are amazed at the total - nearly ÂŁ5,000 that’s fantastic. Looking forward to thanking everyone personally for all the amazing support we’re getting it really has helped to keep us going.

Oi Oi Oi, Lads keep pushing that boat. Cannot imagine the chats we are gonna have when you are home.
A topic that has popped up with my parents,
“do you put sunblock on your Johnson?”
And how long is your hairs?

Wow, not surprised there are problems down under given the blistering pace you’ve set…although sounds like Del’s got off lightly…! Anyway, absolutely incredible effort guys. Aiming to finish in 100days? I managed an impressive 10 mins on the rowing machine this week. Enjoy the rest of the journey xx

Just row the race. Think about the process. Don’t dwell on the result until it’s history.

First thing in the morning - before looking at my work emails - I check on your overnight progress. Good to see you are keeping the pressure on SC and maintaining a comfortable 50 mile lead.
Another week and you should be on dry land. I look forward to adding your “Arrival in Mauritius” photos to your website gallery.

Guy & Andy so sorry to miss seeing you both arrive on dry land!! Well I have just spoken to Xtina before their flight to meet you boys! I have been following you at least 3 times a day & kept asking for you both to be kept safe (forgot about your anatomy though!)Lovely to hear an earth Angel supporting you too!!! I am so pleased that you have endured what nature has thrown at you, tough times but also sometimes amazing sights & sounds! The amount of love being sent out is wonderful & if only we could amplify this. I will miss the banter of this blog & feel so very proud of you. So oooo looking forward to seeing you when you return, also I know Tim & Robert will be too. XXX
